LUNCH on Thursday, Sept 7, 2017: Downtown Toccoa. X-Factor/Cornerstone Café at 27 Doyle Street, Toccoa, GA.
It is 1/2 way down the block or enter the antique store on the corner and go upstairs.
Noon to 1:30ish. If you eat with us, you may be asked to help with setup.

Weekend Games and Competitions
Friendship Quilt Game-small prize for first 30 to complete. (Find in your folder. No fair playing the same board you played last year.)
Hidden Message Game-Depending on how many figure out the hidden message, we may have a drawing of all the guesses to determine winners. Use the small black like in your Welcome Bag.

Fashion Show Competition at the Banquet based on our Theme TAT-A-CON, All things Tatting. Or next year's theme if you want-Not Your Grandmother's Tatting.

Weekend Schedule


Sample Menu for the weekend. Each meal is served buffet style. Many, many choices available at each meal The actual meals are subject to change.

BANQUET: We LOVE our banquet on Friday evenings! Some will dress up for the Banquet (nice "church" clothes).
NEW this year, to go along with our theme, we are having a Costume Parade! (Optional).
Prizes may be awarded for the Best Costume!

We always have have great food, fun and fellowship! Do join us. Cost is just $18. (Our cost from Toccoa.)

Banquet Menu
Yankee Pot Roast: Slow cooked & fork tender in a brown gravy topped with tender carrots and potatoes
Southern Fried Chicken: A Southern tradition needing no explanation
Yellow Rice Pilaf, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Vegetable Medley, Tossed Garden Salad, Italian Caesar Salad
Sliced Pound Cake with Strawberries & Whipped Cream and Georgia Peach Cobbler

We will also have the drawing for the Baskets by Georgia and Friends (place your donation NOW online) and a few auction items! Come ready to bid and have FUN watching the FAST ACTION with Georgia!


After the Banquet, we will move to our "gathering room" for more auction FUN with Georgia!
There will be some GRAND items auctioned off, Friday night around 9:00.

We may need volunteers to watch the Tatting Display for an hour or so anytime our main gathering room is open. Some of our spouses are probably willing to help watch it. Write Donna at tatdays@palmettotatters.org if you would like to be in charge or help with this endeavor. THANKS!
