“HASTY HEART”

Two rings, two chains, and two split rings are all that it takes to make Barbara Hevener’s mini bookmark!  The design is based on the repeated heart motif in the 2008 Tat Days logo, and the instructions will be available in both shuttle and needle editions.

Bring two shuttles (they should be different enough that you can readily distinguish one from the other), OR one #5 tatting needle and a threader.  You also will need at least 2 yards of Size 20 or 10 thread (any color), scissors, and a hook.

If split rings are not yet part of your tatting repertoire, this will be a good opportunity to obtain individual help in learning this technique!
