TAT DAYS 2014 - "Tatting, Tea, and Toffee" - September 5-6
Next meeting will be August 16 at the Lexington Museum. (Directions) 1:00 to 5:00.
We will be preparing for Tat Days and making small tats for the SC State Fair. Come join us for FUN!
PARKING: Please do not park in the other business' parking lots. Use the street or the Museum's lot. If you are able to walk the short walk from this lot to the museum, please do so and save the close spots on Fox Street for those that cannot walk as far. THANKS!
Museum Parking Lot MAP: Large parking area off of Columbia Ave (highway 378) directly in between Carpets Plus and Sherwin Williams and directly across the street from Bojangles. It is where the big cotton gin building is located (the one on stilts) and where the large "Lexington County Museum" sign is located. Just drive through the open chain link fence and park along the grassy/sandy circle. To get to the Hazelius House from there just follow the signs to the "Tour Office" along the rock-lined path around to the front of the Fox House. Once in front of the Fox House you'll see the Hazelius House across Fox Street.
Thank YOU for your Logo Tatting Entries! Congratulations to Martha Ess who won with her lovely teapot and cup.

REQUESTS FOR TATTING
South Carolina State Fair in October: Each year we collect butterflies and other small tatted items to share with the thousands of fair goers.
Items to sell at craft fairs: We love to share our tatting and make more folks aware of this wonderful art form and craft shows are one way we do this. It also brings in a little cash to help support our teaching efforts throughout the year. Craft show goers are looking for unique items and we can provide just that. Items like, but not limited to, jewelry, bookmarks, decorative things, etc. School colors of Maroon and Black for Univ. of SC and Orange and/or Purple for Clemson sell well, too.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU for your generosity!
