A Tatter's Take on the Dorset Button - Part 1

Level 3 Shuttle
Materials: a 1 inch/25 mm diameter ring, 1 or 2 shuttles, size 10 thread in 1 or 2 colors (variegated works well), small crochet hook, needle. Optional kit will have 2 rings: 1 plastic cabone and 1 thin metal.
Prep: please bring shuttle already wound with 4 1/2 yards of thread for making the button. For the snowflake or teapot you may wish to wind a 2nd shuttle. Snowflake = 3 yards CTM with ball, teapot = 4 yards CTM with ball
