Description: Make a little heart motif with a Maltese Ring (pearl tatted ring) in the center

Skills required: Rings, chains, joins

Techniques taught: Making Maltese Ring (pearl tatted ring) with or without a ring in the center

Materials needed / Pre-class preparation: 2 shuttles wound CTM with 1 color thread, or with 2 colors and tied. Needle tatters will need a second needle if they make the optional ring inside the Maltese Ring. Thread size of your choice, 20 or 10 recommended

Kit: No.

Note: I can advise experienced needle tatters on making the Maltese Ring, but I would not be able to help with the basics of needle tatting.
