Thursday, September 6

Noon to 1:30 Lunch downtown Toccoa. RSVP Required back to Donna at tatdays@palmettotatters.org by Wednesday, August 29. Location: Cornerstone Restaurant, 142 N. Sage, Toccoa, GA 30577 (Inside the Whistle Stop antique mall) www.cornerstonetoccoa.com. (Alternate address - 27 Doyle Street.)
If you join us for lunch you may be asked to help with setup.

Registration/Check-in. Do your best to arrive before 9:00pm but if you are going to be after 9, please call ahead and text so we can be sure to have your room key available. Donna 803-338-1384.

7:00 – 10:00 VENDING OPEN!!!!!! Beat the crowd!!!! Pickup your Class Kits and prepare your shuttles for class.

6:00 – until the last one turns out the lights. If after 11, please go quietly to your rooms since others may already be asleep.

Catch up with old friends. Make new friends. Prepare for your classes.

9:00 to 9:30 -Friendship Quilt Game - Lobby Area. Small prize for first 40 to complete game on Friday!

Bring tatted pieces for Tatting Display to Gathering Room. Folks may wish to handle the pieces so we will have white gloves handy. If it is a flat piece, we may place it under plexiglass. Please be considerate of others' tatting. (If you do not wish for folks to touch your work, you may not want to display it.) We will have tie on tags for you to label your work with your name. Your name will be hidden until the end of the competition. You will be responsible for your tatting. Pick-up Saturday evening.

Silent Auction: Take donations to Silent Auction room.

1:00 Tatting Display Friendly Competition. 4 categories: "Best in Show," "Best in Theme," "Most Creative Use of Color," and "Most Novel or Unique." Winners announced Saturday around 11:00a.m.

EASY patterns! Practice by emptying those shuttles. Bring your tats (all colors) and we will gladly share them at the South Carolina State Fair.

Shuttle Testing Round Robins: 10:45 to 11:45. Drop-in to the gathering room for a great time trying out some new and different types of shuttles and threads.

Last Minute Shopping Vending closes at 5:30 so be sure to complete all transactions by then.
5:05 Grand Prize Drawing - Be sure your evaluation is turned in!

Good-Bye!!!  All participants must be checked out of rooms by 10:00. All linens and towels need to be stuffed into a pillow case (linens in one, towels in another) and placed outside your door before you leave. Please remember to turn in your room key in the basket on your way out.
