I reside in Casanova, located in the beautiful Piedmont region of Virginia. I have been shuttle tatting since 2010, when a friend at work suggested we learn shuttle tatting. I learned from YouTube videos. I enjoy making snowflakes and trims. I have learned a great deal since joining the Piedmont Lace Guild in January 2016, including the mysterious pearl tatting I had seen online in an old Mlle. Reigo publication. While puzzling over why my Tatters Across Time proficiency projects came out mirror images of the pictures in the patterns, I found out that I had learned to tat the Riego method, utilizing reverse order double stitches. I am truly thankful for all the help and encouragement my friends at the Piedmont Lace Guild have given me. I have taught classes at Tat Days 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. I had a wonderful time each year! Please stop by The Purple Pumpkin and say hello if you find yourself in Warrenton, VA. Yarnia of Old Town is located in the back room. Please join us for Chat n’ Tat on the last Saturday of the month from January until October.
